ABOUT
Dave's New Kitchen
For almost five years, Dave’s New Kitchen has been carrying on the better traditions of the fallen Dave’s Italian Kitchen, which lived from 1972 to 2016. We still strive to serve real, homemade food at reasonable prices to the Evanston community. We continue to make our own bread and so many other things on the premises.
But in the past year, so much has changed & you don’t need me to tell you what those changes have been.

For a small restaurant in what is now a forever altered industry, what’s next?
I’m not sure.

Since March of 2020, we have been surviving with no indoor dining. That we have done so is a testament to our kind & understanding community, for which I am grateful. At the very least, I do not want to resume indoor dining until all my staff & I have been vaccinated. I joke that we’re dying to serve you but we’re not going to die to serve you.
And we don’t want to serve indoors until virtually all of you are safe. So for now…
Please call in for take-out. You may also order online from our website and it is to our mutual advantage if you do so. Ordering online means that you don’t have to wait on telephone hold & paying online helps lessen your wait time when you arrive to pick up your food.
And when you order online for pick-up, we offer a 5% discount. We are happy to provide curbside.

IF YOU DO COME IN, YOU MUST MASK!

We do not have in-house delivery, but you may order through GrubHub and other third party services. Those companies do charge for their services so please be aware of their fees before you order. Please also know that we have no control over what they do. If you have delivery issues, you must address those to them.

We are located about a block east of the Purple Line stop on Noyes Street. There is a limited amount of street parking and a small pay lot at the “L” stop.
