When indoor dining was shut down over two and a half years ago, I thought it was the end of my restaurant world. Very fortunately, the incredible support given by my customers proved me wrong. My grateful staff & I have survived that unusual period and are now onto what’s next.

 

As of June 1, we have been seating in our lovable but small dining room. We’ve changed many things: we have fewer but slightly larger tables, we’ve updated our service technology & removed a dividing wall. We’re experimenting with serving most of our entrees & salads in large porcelain bowls (so far, so good!).

 

We’re now using a high protein, unbleached, unbromated flour (King Arthur’s Lancelot). Despite an inflation rate of over 25% since 2016 and supply chain woes up the you-know-what, we’ve raised prices only a relatively sane 12% over 6 ½ years. Though I fear costs will continue to escalate, we’ll do our best to keep prices down. And we will continue to cook our homemade food for you!

 

Though we no longer allow the bringing in of alcohol, we have a small and affordable selection of beer and wine. We do not allow the bringing in of outside food.

 

We do not accept reservations. Under the catering section, you can see some of our dishes that are available in 10” x 12” pans. Those are for pick-up only.

 

We do not have in-house delivery, but you may order through Grubhub, Uber Eats & Door Dash who charge for their services. Please also know that we have no control over what they do. If you have delivery issues, you must address those to them.

 

We are located about a block east of the Purple Line stop on Noyes Street. There is a limited amount of street parking and a small pay lot at the “L” stop. No helipad, yet.
